We are seeking a Manager, Pharma Data and Analytics Strategy to join our growing Data and Analytics team. In this role, you will support the development and execution of strategic analytics initiatives and data products that enable pharmaceutical client engagement and drive business growth. This position is ideal for an analytical and client-focused professional with experience in pharmaceutical and life sciences data and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable analytics plans. You will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful solutions, operationalize data commercialization, and contribute to advancing CVS Health’s analytics capabilities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support development, execution, and delivery of Trade data products and solutions: Gain and leverage deep understanding of Trade and manufacturer relationships to consolidate insights and design, build, and launch products that achieve market advantages. Assist senior leadership in portfolio analysis and prioritization among innovation and growth opportunities
  • Operationalize data commercialization: Execute on data and analytics strategy by engaging cross-functionally to gather requirements, design, develop, test, and implement offerings. Drive results and resolve issues during operationalization and go-to-market execution
  • Create business cases for new initiatives: Construct and execute analyses to meet business case requirements using data sourced through observations, tests, interviews, and custom data pulls or cross-functional collaboration
  • Own and manage initiative governance: Support data and analytics deliverables management and process development, including managing project plans, creating workflows, and understanding inputs/outputs of the product
  • Gather, analyze, and translate data and requirements: Consolidate timelines, dependencies, and operational needs into actionable insights for stakeholders
  • Support tailored analytics solutions: Assist in designing and delivering analytics solutions that address pharmaceutical client needs across commercial teams (e.g., marketing, analytics, and strategy)
  • Prepare client-facing materials and presentations: Contribute to thought leadership efforts, including client presentations and industry engagements
  • Monitor performance metrics: Provide insights to optimize solution effectiveness and client impact

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in business analytics, consulting, or client solutions within the pharmaceutical or healthcare data space
  • 3+ years of experience delivering analytics projects and solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Public Health, Business, Life Sciences)
  • Working knowledge of pharmaceutical industry dynamics, including marketing and commercial strategy
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and project coordination
  • Experience working in a large, matrixed organization
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Nice to have:

  • Operational and project management experience within a relevant Commercial Analytics functions, including Trade, Patient Analytics, Brand Insights, and Market Access
  • Experience using pharma industry data products (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony Health) to generate insights and recommendations
  • MBA or management consulting experience with exposure to healthcare or pharma analytics strategy
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, oral and written communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to develop analyses and presentations to successfully recommend strategy or change initiatives and generate new ideas for offerings or operational processes
