Job Description

As the Manager, SEM, you will own and execute Airwallex’s global SEM marketing strategy, driving measurable growth in customer acquisition and revenue. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, launch, and optimize high-impact paid search campaigns across multiple markets. This is a hands-on, data-driven role where you’ll blend strategic thinking with campaign execution, leveraging the latest tools and best practices to maximize ROI and scale our global presence.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global SEM strategy aligned with business goals and regional priorities
  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid search campaigns (Google Ads, Bing, etc.) across multiple geographies, ensuring best-in-class performance and efficiency
  • Design and run A/B tests for ad copy, landing pages, and bidding strategies to continuously improve campaign results
  • Analyze campaign data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization
  • report on performance to senior leadership
  • Collaborate with product marketing, analytics, and regional marketing teams to localize campaigns and align messaging
  • Manage SEM budgets, forecast spend, and ensure optimal allocation of resources

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on SEM marketing experience, with a proven track record of running and optimizing global paid search campaigns
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Deep expertise in Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other major SEM platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions
  • Experience managing SEM budgets and delivering measurable ROI
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • able to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, global environment

  • Experience in fintech, SaaS, or B2B marketing environments
