Job Description

Oversees the Parking Services department at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, ensuring 24/7 coverage, staff management, training, policy enforcement, financial objectives, and customer service.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversees supervisors to accomplish the objectives of Parking Services, including coverage and accountability 24/7
  • Works with supervisors to develop their coaching and management skills
  • Hires, disciplines and reviews staff with input from supervisors
  • Oversees new employee training as well as ongoing staff training
  • Conducts regular meetings with supervisors and front-line staff
  • Develops, updates, and enforces policies and procedures appropriate for the operations of Parking Services
  • Monitors Key Performance Indicators
  • Assists with achieving financial objectives of Parking Services
  • Ensures that proper cash control procedures are documented and are followed by all staff
  • Monitors all locations staffed by Parking Services employees
  • Serves as the primary contact for services provided by Parking Services
  • Serves as the primary contact between WFBH and vendors related to parking services and contracts
  • Demonstrates responsibility for personal development

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Psychology or other related field
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience preferred
  • Work experience in a health care setting preferred
  • Valid N.C. Driver License
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt in a changing environment
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Superior problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
