Job Responsibility

  • KeepStock Management/Leadership: Manage a team of 10 to 20 Onsite Service Representatives/Specialists who maintain inventory in customer accounts helping customers save time and money
  • Use Grainger network to collaborate within multiple teams to achieve results
  • Implement Leader Plan which includes assessing and prioritizing, coaching and teaching, hiring top talent
  • Promote strong team member engagement, support team member development
  • Financial Performance/Resource Management: Manage projects by allocating resources ensuring return on investment and profitability
  • Understand market conditions and trends and customer requirements to provide appropriate direction and guidance to the broader organization
  • Ensure the right solutions and resources are being offered/deployed to customers
  • Ensure optimal customer survey satisfaction levels
  • Business Partnerships to influence Growth: Partner with internal Grainger teams to provide KeepStock expertise to develop a tailored strategy that supports our customers business pressures and goals

Requirements

  • 5+ years of retail, manufacturing or industrial business experience with direct leadership experience
  • Understanding of financial and economic concepts
  • Experience leading in a matrixed environment
  • Experience in building and working effectively within different teams
  • Strength in process improvement, ownership and control and project management
  • Experience leading and working towards goals with a remote team
