Job Responsibility:
Directs and controls the daily operations, ensuring the school is running according to GSS standards
Assists both departments in managing the day to day operations by: upholding Values & Standards, ensuring policies, procedures, and systems are consistent, organizing & delegating, and provides support through mentoring and training
Assists both departments in leading by contributing to the following: initiatives, goals, elevation & change, troubleshooting, momentum & traction, cooperation & commitment, and empowering the team
Demonstrates continued growth in Leadership Development
Lead the staff of GSS to ensure high productivity, excellent performance and positive employee satisfaction during swim lessons
Provides disciplinary action when necessary and/or direct team members to management
Attends and assists all In-Services, Workshops, and L10 Meetings
Proficient in all technology platforms (The WAVE) to achieve a high level of competence in bookings, class scheduling, reporting and administrative functions
Proficient in the Visual Curriculum Book
Maintains a streamline communication system between the GM and team
Oversees the opening and closing process
Able to troubleshoot the pump room for safety
Participates in teaching, deck supervising, and sales & Service maintain proficiency in all skill sets
Assists in the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan and all safety procedures that pertain to the GSS facility and trains all current staff on the GSS EAP
Maintains current certifications and stays up-to-date professionally on the aquatics and management field
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree
2 year experience in coordinating, training, and supervising
Customer service, relationship building, and sales experience experience preferred
