Manager of Sterile Processing

• Oversee daily operations of the Sterile Processing Department, including hiring, orienting, coaching, and evaluating staff performance
• Guarantee timely and accurate sterilization of instruments for operating rooms and procedural areas
• Develop and maintain quality metrics in collaboration with Infection Prevention, Quality, and OR teams
• Manage departmental inventory, including supplies and implants
• Maintain precise instrument checklists, sterilization records, and process documentation
• Actively participate in relevant organizational meetings and committees
• Provide and oversee ongoing staff education and competency development
• Perform all duties of a Sterile Processing Tech I and II as needed

• Proven experience in Sterile Processing management or a similar leadership role
• Strong understanding of sterile processing principles, practices, and regulatory requirements
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and team development skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse departments
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality

Specific certifications (e.g., CRCST, CIS, CSPM)
