Job Description

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Temporary. Position Location: Edmonton. About ICE: Independent Counselling Enterprises (ICE) supports adults with disabilities to live meaningful, inclusive lives. Behind the scenes, our Personnel and Scheduling team plays a critical role in ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time — supporting both our staff and the individuals we serve. At ICE, we value strong leadership, sound decision-making, and a people-first approach. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings both operational strength and a solid understanding of human resources practices. Role Summary: As the Manager of Personnel & Scheduling, you will provide leadership and oversight to recruitment, staffing, scheduling, and personnel processes within the Edmonton region. You will play a key role in ensuring staffing stability, supporting employee performance, and maintaining compliance with employment standards and organizational policies. This position is well suited to a leader who enjoys balancing people management, operational coordination, and HR best practices. Candidates with a background in Human Resources — particularly in larger or multi-site organizations — will find this role especially rewarding. This role offers the opportunity to apply HR knowledge in a hands-on, operational environment where your decisions directly impact workforce stability and service quality.

  • Supervisory or leadership experience
  • Knowledge of Employment Standards and applicable government regulations
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Clear Criminal Record Check and ability to be bondable
