We’re hiring a Manager of Lending Infrastructure to own and evolve the operational and technical backbone that powers lending. This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of credit, engineering, and product execution. You will drive operational excellence by building the infrastructure, tools, and cross-functional partnerships necessary to scale lending effectively, safely, and efficiently. The Implementation role ensures the systems, processes, and delivery mechanisms behind our lending products are robust, resilient, and ready to evolve with the needs of our merchants and internal stakeholders. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring a unique blend of system thinking, technical fluency and rigour.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the strategy and roadmap for MLC infrastructure

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Data to influence roadmaps that automate risk controls, reduce decisioning latency, and improve user experience for both our internal teams and our merchants
  • Act as the connective tissue between MLC. Product, Data & Legal. Translate requirements into scalable operational processes, ensure that lending initiatives are implemented with clarity, and remove ambiguity during rollout
  • Partner with Merchant Lending Credit to identify points of merchant or analyst friction across the loan lifecycle, particularly in edge cases, doc collection, KYC processing, and manual tasking
  • Translate frameworks into scalable technical requirements by working directly with RnD to scope, prioritize and ship critical infrastructure
  • Understand how software is built, comfortable using AI at scale, and contribute meaningfully to technical discussions

Requirements:

  • 7+ years in fintech, lending: has led infrastructure or workflow transformation in complex or regulated environments
  • Experience working on automated underwriting, decisioning systems design
  • Experience scaling infrastructure in a high-growth environment: comfortable with system architecture, data flows and release cycles
  • Confident partnering with Engineers, debating tradeoffs and influencing technical decisions without creating friction
  • Comfortable building from scratch: process frameworks and automation, systems, etc.
  • Thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and brings clarity and structure to complex domains

Nice to have:

  • Prior engineering, technical product or fintech platform experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with revenue-based financing or embedded lending products
