Reporting directly to the Dean of Higher Education, you will take the operational and strategic reins of the Bachelor of ICT (BICT) program. You will lead, mentor, and inspire a dedicated team of lecturers and unit coordinators, ensuring the faculty is audit-ready, future-proofed, and delivering elite-tier student experiences.
Job Responsibility
Manage, roster, onboard, and mentor BICT Lecturers and Unit Coordinators spanning undergraduate foundational classes up to advanced postgraduate concepts
Support the Dean in embedding scaled academic processes to handle growing student loads and ensure consistency across a expanding multi-campus network
Maintain 'audit-ready' standards across course delivery, grading, and moderation in strict alignment with HESF 2021 (Threshold Standards), TEQSA, and ACS accreditation requirements
Actively lead the faculty in adapting to the realities of Generative AI, upskilling staff, and AI-proofing assessment frameworks to protect academic integrity
Oversee student progression, address student concerns, and guide your teaching team to support a diverse cohort of international, mature-age, and migrant learners
Requirements
PhD (or near completion) in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) or a closely related field is essential
Extensive, proven track record managing academic staff and delivering higher education courses within a regulated environment
In-depth familiarity with the HESF 2021, ESOS Act 2000, National Code, and ACS professional accreditation standards
A self-starter who can drive ground-level operational milestones while seamlessly navigating the necessary corporate bureaucracy of a highly regulated framework
