Job SummaryAs the Manager of Global Supply Chain (GSC) you will inspire, coordinate, and lead several teams within Millennium’s GSC organization to deliver high quality parts on time and on cost, with considerations for continuous improvement, driving reduction in cost, with focus on quality. The manager is the advocate for the team to ensure they have the required resources to exceed customer expectations. You will directly manage supplier operations, indirect procurement, strategic sourcing and other Supply Chain related functions. This position will report into the Sr. Director of Global Supply Chain. This position's internal job code is Procurement Multi-fam Spec. Our team is currently hiring for a level K.
Job Responsibility
Support and execute to a clear, high-level vision for the supply chain organization, aligning with company goals and growth strategies
Drive supply chain contributions to major proposal and pursuit activities, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and cost expectations
Strengthen supply chain resiliency by identifying and mitigating risks across global and domestic supply bases
Provide mentorship and regular feedback through 1:1 meetings and formal performance reviews
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain/operations management, OR business
Expertise in strategic sourcing and vendor management, including pricing analysis, lead time and contract negotiations, supply chain planning and procurement, and high-level executive communications
Experience communicating results to senior leadership
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A final U.S. clearance Post Start is required
