This position is responsible for managing the rehabilitation / renovation / capital improvement projects for a region, or regions, of the company. Manages a team of varied Construction Services employees at individual property sites ensuring all projects within the region are completed within quality standards, on time, within budget and with internal and external communication that meets best practices. Additional responsibilities include coordination with the appropriate Operations Leadership as well as senior leadership within the Construction Services department as necessary.
Job Responsibility:
Managing the rehabilitation / renovation / capital improvement projects for a region
Managing a team of varied Construction Services employees
Ensuring all projects within the region are completed within quality standards, on time, within budget and with internal and external communication that meets best practices
Coordination with the appropriate Operations Leadership as well as senior leadership within the Construction Services department
Ensuring the activities necessary for property rehabilitation, renovation and/or capital improvement projects are completed on time, within budget
Coordinating work activities and liaising with vendors and other contractors
Conducting property inspections to ensure maintenance and rehab/renovation/improvement initiatives are following proper safety precautions
Identifying and addressing problems, issues, and concerns that create project and work delays
Developing scopes of work, timelines, and other needs and parameters around the planning of a capital improvement, renovation, or construction related project
Conferring with the appropriate supervisors or other managers to monitor progress
Interviewing, hiring, training and supervising associates related to renovations/rehabilitation/improvements
Completing various human resources, financial, administrative, and other reports and analysis
