Job Description

As a Manager, National Accounting Sweden, Finland & Norway, you will lead statutory accounting and tax compliance for all entities in own responsibility area, ensuring adherence to local regulations and US GAAP standards. You will be the main contact for external auditors and tax authorities, while supporting PPG EMEA functions such as Tax, Treasury and Controllership.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver accurate statutory financial statements
  • Coordinate and act as main contact for external auditors
  • Ensure compliance with local and US GAAP accounting standards
  • Corporate Income Tax reporting and annual income tax returns. Be the main contact for Tax Authorities and support tax audits
  • Ensure VAT compliance and oversee VAT reporting
  • Submit US Tax Packages, support preparation of Transfer Pricing Documentation
  • Contribute to SOX compliance in accounting processes and manage own controls
  • Maintain legal and corporate documentation for Swedish, Finnish and Norwegian entities
  • Support Brno Shared Service Center and EMEA teams
  • Improve accounting processes and implement corrective actions. Participate to Finance improvement projects
  • Lead NAC teams in Sweden, Finland and Norway

Requirements

  • Minimum 4–5 years in finance, including tax and general accounting
  • Experience in statutory accounting, tax compliance, and audit coordination
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (advanced degree or professional qualification is an advantage)
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, with the ability to conduct business communication on a daily professional level
  • Be in the office in Stockholm at least 3 days per week

Nice to have

  • Leadership experience
  • 2 or more years of experience in a Big Four company
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Ax or SAP
