Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Marketing Manager in Mexico with deep customer and Mexican market knowledge to optimize marketing strategies and execution across the entire customer journey, from new customer acquisition to engagement to brand affinity. This role will work across several business units, including Devices (Roku Players and Roku TV) and Platform (Content and Viewer Product). In this role, you will report to the Director of International Consumer Marketing, based in the United States.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a country-focused marketing team managing planning and campaign execution across the entire customer journey, from customer acquisition to engagement
  • Develop an understanding of the drivers of local purchase behavior (acquisition), customer activation (engagement), and habitual usage (retention)
  • Oversee new device and OS product launches and manage the cross-functional implementation
  • Develop and implement campaigns and promotions, including Own and Operated channels, ATL, BTL, and digital
  • Manage Lifecycle Marketing programs and automations
  • Manage all Channel Marketing activities
  • collaborate with Distributors/Retail/E-tail customers as well as with the global retail and ecommerce marketing team to create in-store materials (shippers, videos, demos) and online presence that supports a cohesive brand/product message
  • Monitor customer touchpoints to ensure marketing and promotional messages are consistent (brand logos, product imagery, claims, and messaging)
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, including legal, creative, media, analytics, consumer insights, product, public relations, partner marketing, and sales teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year University or College
  • 10+ years of marketing experience as well as people management experience
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish at an advanced level
  • Strong strategic and executional marketing campaign experience (branding, growth/acquisition, and engagement/lifecycle marketing), including planning, asset creation, media buying, measurement, and reporting
  • Experience in trade marketing in the Mexican consumer electronics retailer/e-tailer landscape
  • Able to travel within Mexico and occasionally travel to international destinations (US/Latam)
  • Ability to manage and mentor a high-performance team
  • Proven planning, prioritization, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced in deriving meaning from data through testing and optimization, and taking appropriate action based on key learnings
  • Ability to speak, write, and present to internal and external stakeholders, as well as the ability to influence others
  • Ability to maintain a curious, creative mindset and be knowledgeable about visual design
