Job Description

The Field Sales Manager is responsible to achieve company objectives through his team of MSRs in his responsible geographical scope through enhancing all operational & strategic pillars by supplying information, analysis and reports for effective sales management to ensure that we have the right distribution targets & KPIs across all categories /Regions, also ensures the implementation of detailing activities relating to Nestlé's Health science products to the medical professionals in his/ her area in the most effective and efficient way possible in full compliance with the Nestlé instructions.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop an action plans (quarterly reviewed) along with setting/ developing territory strategies, establishing detailing objectives for his/her area and prioritizing resources to be used to achieve these objectives, in line with his Category Business Manager
  • Continuously support his team to monitor and review territory activities through CRM in addition to other data sources on HCPs demographics to identify opportunities and propose yearly strategies and field force size
  • Budget foreseeable expenses especially those involving special functions (scientific meeting, etc), and ensures proper requisition, allocation and distribution of all materials for his team
  • Review Classification of healthcare professionals by MSRs according to type, and fair distribution of coverage, and ensures overall consistency of all databases
  • In liaison with Category Business Manager ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness of team of MSRs, including transfers sourcing, actively participating in recruitment processes
  • Motivate, coach, guide and evaluate MSR’s performance by validating the effectiveness of programs on detailing skills, product knowledge and presentation skills so as to recognize positive performance and feedback on areas requiring improvements
  • Organize and conducts cycle meetings, instructing the MSRs on the use of new literature / promotion materials, as well as updates team on new development in NHS, products and regulations communicated to him by the NHS Management. Ensures that action points arising from these meetings are followed up and implemented
  • Monitor and report competitors’ activities and his/her territory and propose action plans accordingly
  • Personally visit KOLs and most important stakeholders in his assigned geographical scope
  • Organize and coordinate scientific lectures on Nutrition related topics with medical / paramedical groups
  • Manage the requests of the healthcare system to provide better services to patients (continuing medical education and equipment) to develop long-term, sustainable and responsible relationships with Healthcare professionals and Institutions
  • Ensure strict adherence and compliance on all activities undertaken to Nestle Instructions and local country codes

Requirements

  • Bachelor of pharmaceutical Science /Medicine / Nutrition / Biology
  • Minimum 3-5 years field sales experience in Nestle and / or previous experience in managing people
  • Strong analytical skills Capability to interpreting sales reports
  • Ability to perform in a highly dynamic, fast pace environment requiring multitasking & correct prioritization
  • Ability to work in a close team environment with fast adaptation of communication style according to audience
