Job Description

The Mgr Medicaid Growth & Retention's primary focus will be to work cross functionally to develop, execute, support, and continuously improve on strategies and operations related to retention, growth, and financial performance that contribute to profitable growth in the PHSP product portfolio. This role is also responsible for in-depth research, thorough analysis, and accurate summarization of market research, external market, current membership, and new and existing legal and regulatory guidelines.

Job Responsibility

  • Work cross functionally to develop, execute, support, and continuously improve on strategies and operations related to retention, growth, and financial performance that contribute to profitable growth in the PHSP product portfolio
  • Conduct in-depth research, thorough analysis, and accurate summarization of market research, external market, current membership, and new and existing legal and regulatory guidelines
  • Identify key member cohorts and opportunities for achieving short- and long-term membership retention improvement strategies
  • Assist in the development of a member retention strategy through the use of segmentation modeling, member profiling, propensity scoring and targeted channel communication
  • Work collaboratively across lines of businesses to develop and execute market retention plans
  • Participate in product driven workgroups to provide input to product designs/enhancements and implementation plans
  • Work closely with cross functional teams such as Retention, Enrollment & Billing, Claims, Member Services, Compliance, Sales, Finance, Enterprise Analytics, Marketing, and senior management
  • Provide daily insight and reporting to Sales and Product teams on efficacy of sales sites, membership growth, and performance
  • Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to a project or assignment
  • Keep all areas of the corporation informed through written and oral reports
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on product requirements to other business units
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry marketplace with a focus on integrated products
  • Ability to identify areas of opportunity, develop plan of action, communicate effectively, and execute
  • Strong analytic, strategic and planning skills
  • must be able to successfully facilitate sound business objectives within highly regulated industry
  • Strong public speaking and oral and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel proficiency

Nice to have

  • Graduate degree in public health, public policy or business administration from top university
  • Demonstrated success in managing and delivering large, complex, and multifaceted projects with minimal supervision
