Job Description

This is a high-impact leadership role for a Manufacturing. Test Engineering Leader with experience of building world-class AI/ML hardware infrastructure. You will support the quality vision, drive innovation in test development to support new product introduction, and ensure our products set the standard for reliability and performance in the industry

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of Meta’s custom hardware testing framework for factory deployment, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with evolving product features and requirements
  • Translate product engineers’ test specifications into robust, executable test suites, guiding the team to deliver high-quality test solutions to support New Product Introduction schedules
  • Responsible for deployment of test suites and frameworks at factory sites, coordinating with Original Design Manufacturers and providing technical support and troubleshooting for deployed solutions
  • Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team specialized in hardware testing and automation, fostering professional growth and technical subject matter expertise
  • Encourage innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement to build a motivated and high-performing team
  • Effectively communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment
  • Collaborate with various cross-functional teams, including hardware quality engineering, component quality engineering, technical program management, and Supply Chain, to ensure quality is integrated into all aspects of the product development process
  • Track and communicate team OKR and success metrics to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Extensive experience collaborating with Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs), contract manufacturers, and component suppliers for data center server accelerator products such as GPUs or AI accelerators
  • 10+ years of experience in hardware testing, automation, or related technical domains
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated leadership and team management experience
  • Expertise in Linux operating systems and hardware testing frameworks
  • Proficiency with automation tools and scripting languages, including Python and Bash required
  • Proficiency in data analysis and SQL is required
  • Proven communication skills with the experience working effectively with a broad set of stakeholders
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and factory deployment is expected
