You’ll work at the center of AMD’s most strategic growth initiatives, partnering with leaders across our Business Units and Engineering organizations to translate deal objectives into real-world outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to learn the full M&A lifecycle, influence cross-functional decision-making, and help build scalable integration capabilities in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. You’ll gain exposure to senior leadership, collaborate with teams across the company, and play a critical role in delivering the value behind AMD’s acquisitions.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the full M&A integration lifecycle—from due diligence through post‑close execution—by identifying risks, developing integration plans, and tracking progress against key milestones
  • Manage workstream activities, ensuring transparency, timely updates, and proactive issue resolution across cross-functional teams
  • Build and maintain integration tools, including Smartsheet trackers, scorecards, templates, and playbooks, to support consistent reporting and execution
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and refining AMD’s integration frameworks and best practices
  • Participate in broader corporate development activities such as market analysis, target evaluation, and support for deal structuring and valuation
  • Drive strategic thinking and problem-solving across diverse teams to remove roadblocks and ensure successful outcomes

Requirements

  • Experience in M&A integration, post‑merger integration, corporate development, consulting, or program/project management within technology, semiconductor, or high‑growth environments
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence stakeholders, and build strong working relationships
  • Strong program management capabilities, including developing frameworks, deliverables, and process improvements
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to or advising senior leadership
  • Proficiency with project management tools
  • Smartsheet experience is highly desired
  • Ability to analyze complex information, identify issues, and recommend solutions
  • Experience in semiconductor, technology, or financial services industries, particularly in hardware, software, or digital products
  • Familiarity with the full M&A lifecycle, including due diligence, valuation, and synergy realization
  • Knowledge of desktop applications such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Advanced degrees such as MBA or JD are desired
