Job Description:

The Manager, Legal Contract Management will be responsible for carrying out reviews of general contracts to verify compliance with contractual obligations, lessen legal risks, and support effective contract management processes. This role will also lead contract negotiation processes by collaborating with internal stakeholders and external parties, deliver outstanding quality service to internal and customers, provide expertise in the areas of customer contracts, negotiations, and project management and drive compliance with Aetna's internal and external obligations.

Job Responsibility:

Carry out reviews of general contracts to verify compliance with contractual obligations
Lessen legal risks and support effective contract management processes
Lead contract negotiation processes by collaborating with internal stakeholders and external parties
Deliver outstanding quality service to internal and customers
Provide expertise in customer contracts, negotiations, and project management
Drive compliance with Aetna's internal and external obligations

Requirements:

5+ years of legal and/or contract negotiation experience
2+ years of project management experience
Demonstrated negotiation skills
Conflict management and problem-solving skills
Experience collaborating with others to complete multiple tasks on time
Track record of implementing positive improvements and execution
Experience handling diverse assignments and multiple priorities with demanding turnaround times
Team player with a high level of communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong organization and time management skills
Nimble and agile in interactions and in formulating solutions
Bachelor degree required or equivalent years of relevant work experience
