The Learning and Development (L&D) team within Human Resources seeks to deliver high-quality learning and development programs across the firm. Working in a highly collaborative environment, the Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating learning and leadership development programs. This role will focus on building and scaling programs, influencing the strategic direction of learning, consulting, facilitating, and leading and managing complex assignments to support L&D. Additional responsibilities include project management, vendor management, content development and process improvements.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, assess, recommend, create, and implement learning & leadership development programs, processes, tools, resources, and solutions
Provide input on the strategic direction of learning and development programs and initiatives
Facilitate virtual or face-to-face workshops and leadership programs
Collaborate with stakeholders, learning departments, LMS administrators, external vendors, and other teams to optimize the learning experience
Monitor feedback, evaluate the impact and effectiveness of learning solutions, and communicate results and recommendations
Develop and improve learning processes
Perform external research and benchmarking on learning trends, priorities, and initiatives
Support key learning initiatives and activities within Talent and Learning
Build strategic partnerships and relationships with vendors
Partner with outside consultants and negotiate cost-effective programs
Prepare and deliver written and verbal presentations and proposals to management
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Human Resources Management
6 to 10 years of general experience
Strong understanding of talent development and learning and development best practices
Knowledge of adult learning theories
Knowledge of learning and development research, trends and best practices
Knowledge of business process improvement
Knowledge of financial services industry preferred
Experience designing, developing and modifying content, presentations, participant guides, learning materials, job aides, etc.
Facilitation and coaching skills
Strong project management skills and attention to detail

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience with tools for measuring the impact of learning programs
