While networking expertise is essential, this role is focused primarily on leadership, planning, and execution rather than day-to-day hands-on engineering. Job Responsibility

  • Manage and mentor a team of Network Engineers, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience with responsibility for managing technical teams and direct reports
  • Experience supporting large enterprise environments with 1,000+ users and distributed infrastructure
  • Proven success leading teams through multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
  • Strong expertise in enterprise networking technologies and infrastructure strategy
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to balance strategic priorities with operational demands
  • Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and enterprise networking environments
  • Routing and switching protocols including: TCP/IP, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, VPN technologies, L2–L7 networking
  • Cisco VoIP solutions (Call Manager, Unity, Presence)
  • Wireless networking technologies
  • Network monitoring solutions such as SolarWinds or similar platforms
