The Manager, Inside Sales is responsible for coordinating and supervising a team of inside sales professionals to achieve revenue goals and deliver excellent customer experiences. This role focuses on team leadership, operational execution, and short-term business impact within the department. The ideal candidate has experience managing sales teams, driving performance, and collaborating across functions.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate and oversee daily activities of Inside Sales Consultants to meet team and individual sales targets
Set priorities and allocate resources to ensure alignment with business objectives
Recruit, onboard, and coach team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning
Monitor pipeline development and opportunity management to maintain consistent revenue flow
Ensure CRM data accuracy and assist with forecasting and performance reporting
Act as an advisor to team members to resolve issues and meet schedules
Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to execute campaigns and deliver customer solutions
Support initiatives to improve team engagement and operational efficiency
Encourage adoption of digital tools and virtual engagement strategies
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or related field
5+ years of sales experience
Proven ability to manage teams and achieve sales goals
Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and sales reporting
Strong communication and coaching skills
Ability to adapt plans and priorities to address operational challenges
Nice to have:
Experience in B2B or institutional sales, ideally in education, technology, or publishing
Knowledge of digital learning solutions or SaaS models
Exposure to virtual selling tools and digital enablement platforms
