Job Responsibility

  • Develop and execute coaching plans focused on people, process, and performance—driving accountability, results through others, and timely execution
  • Observe and provide real-time coaching on key performance metrics, Grainger’s value proposition, and effective selling strategies for medium-sized customers
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market conditions, competitive landscape, customer needs, and the unique dynamics of the assigned customer segment
  • Lead strategic territory planning, including making recommendations for account transitions or adjustments to coverage models
  • Identify seller strengths and development areas quickly

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 5+ years sales experience in B2B solution-based selling environment focused on revenue attainment and goal orientation
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams
  • Coaching capabilities, both in-the-moment and through structured development plans
  • Financial acumen with a demonstrated ability to forecast, manage sales pipelines, identify trends, and escalate key concerns
  • Track record of leading teams to exceed revenue goals and key performance metrics
  • Ability to leverage data and market insights to drive strategic planning and execution
  • Travel estimated less than 10%
