Job Description

Carrier Corporation is seeking an experienced and motivated desktop engineer to join our team to implement and support key elements of the global endpoint management services for desktop/laptop/Mac computers. This individual will work in our global organization and will be responsible for supporting our endpoint devices and users, covering remote management, patch management, software distribution, operating system deployment, network access protection, and hardware/software inventory efforts using Microsoft Intune and/or SCCM. This role is also responsible for leading the introduction of new and innovative technologies to help Carrier Corporation increase employee productivity and engagement.

  • Review and approve Endpoint related change management and other requests
  • Review and approve permissions and accesses to Endpoint related environments
  • Review and approve documentation and communications
  • Interface with other teams for joint efforts
  • Provide administrative management of outsourced team members
  • Provide overall team leadership
  • Provide consultancy and be technically proficient as an escalation point for issues
  • Mentor, support, and develop other members of the department

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience with endpoint management platforms (Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, SCCM)
  • 5+ years of experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) and OS administration (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android)
  • 5+ years of experience with Endpoint security fundamentals (encryption, EDR, antivirus)

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related business discipline
  • Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or ITIL
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM, VMware Workspace ONE, or JAMF
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android endpoint ecosystems
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust security models and endpoint detection & response (EDR) tools
  • Proficiency in automation/scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
  • Proven track record of leading endpoint management teams or projects
  • Experience in policy design, compliance enforcement, and audit preparation
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and evaluate new endpoint technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to balance security requirements with user experience
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise environments with thousands of endpoints
  • Background in hybrid work enablement and secure remote access solutions
