Job Description:

This role will be responsible for providing coordination and management of City of Darwin's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) team to ensure high availability and maximum effectiveness of business processes and systems, telecommunications, data, technology, vendors, cyber security, financial expenditure and contract management. This position is also required to support the Executive Manager Corporate and Customer Service as the subject matter expert to deliver section outcomes in accordance with strategic directions, municipal planning and budget requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing coordination and management of City of Darwin's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) team to ensure high availability and maximum effectiveness of business processes and systems, telecommunications, data, technology, vendors, cyber security, financial expenditure and contract management
  • Support the Executive Manager Corporate and Customer Service as the subject matter expert to deliver section outcomes in accordance with strategic directions, municipal planning and budget requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor in ICT, Systems Administration, Network Management or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in an ICT management role
  • A minimum of five (5) years' experience in an ICT technical role
  • National Criminal History Check
  • Class C Driver's Licence
