This individual contributor role will assist the Tax Leadership team in defining and executing indirect tax strategy across all lines of business, with a heavy focus on standing up new processes and solutions for new and developing business areas. The Manager will operate as an adaptable “utility player,” flexing between strategy, stakeholder alignment, and hands-on build to move work from concept to durable execution.

Job Responsibility:

  • Partner with the Tax Leadership team to shape indirect tax strategy and priorities across lines of business
  • Stand up scalable indirect tax processes for emerging or evolving business models
  • Lead change management for new processes and solutions
  • Identify indirect tax risks and opportunities associated with new business activities
  • Build cross-functional partnerships (e.g., Finance, Legal, Operations, business teams)
  • Create repeatable playbooks, templates, and governance rhythms
  • Influence outcomes through expertise and relationships

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of indirect tax experience with industry background in health care and/or software/technology
  • Strong working knowledge of indirect tax concepts (e.g., sales/use tax
  • VAT/GST principles as applicable

  • 3+ years of strong project leadership and prioritization skills
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field required or equivalent years of related experience

  • Familiarity with tax technology/process improvement work (tools, data flows, workflow design)
  • CPA, MBA, or MST
