The Manager of IC Contest Reporting is responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of contest reporting across Inflammation, Bone, and Cardiovascular business units. This role oversees end-to-end reporting operations, ensures accuracy and timeliness, partners closely with cross-functional teams, and provides strategic guidance to optimize contest measurement and field engagement. The manager will supervise reporting processes executed by analysts and vendor partners while driving consistency, scalability, and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibility:
Lead contest reporting operations across multiple business units, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant reporting for field teams and leadership
Oversee the development of reporting frameworks, dashboards, and data structures that support contest rules, eligibility, and payout mechanics
Partner with IC Design, Data management, Field Reporting, and IC platform teams to align requirements, clarify assumptions, and validate outputs
Manage and review deliverables from contest reporting team
provide quality checks and strategic guidance
Develop and maintain standardized processes, documentation, contest budget trackers, and SLAs to ensure consistency across business units
Guide contest reporting team in building analytical reports that provide insights to field teams and progress to contest objectives
Translate analytics and reporting insights into clear recommendations for business stakeholders
Support contest design discussions by advising on feasibility, reporting implications, and data availability
Manage escalations, resolve data discrepancies, and ensure communication to stakeholders is clear and timely
Identify automation opportunities and lead initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and scalability
Coach and mentor junior team members
build capability across IC reporting functions
Requirements:
9 to 12 years of experience in Incentive Compensation
Relevant Bio/Pharmaceutical industry and/or consulting experience
Execution-Focused Delivery: Own and execute day-to-day analytics tasks, reporting development, and field data operations with speed, accuracy, and minimal oversight
Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large, complex datasets. Demonstrated ability to translate business rules into data logic and calculations. Proven track record of identifying errors, troubleshooting data, and resolving issues efficiently
Attention to Detail and Accountability: High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, especially in preparing payment files and reports. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure data integrity
Critical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to diagnose business issues and incorporate into development or adjustment of strategies, plans and tactics to achieve business objectives
Communication: Effective communication is key, both in writing and verbally. This includes the ability to present data and findings clearly to stakeholders and team members
Oral, written and presentation skills to explain complex concepts and controversial findings clearly to a variety of audiences, including senior management
Ability to identify areas for process and systems innovation and implement change that will enhance the overall effectiveness of the team
Understanding of technology platforms and ability to partner with IS/IT and business leaders
