Job Description

As a Manager in Training, you’ll work alongside your Store Manager to coach and lead a sales team while delivering exceptional in-store experiences. You’ll be hands-on in day-to-day operations, driving KPIs, and helping create a vibrant, high-performing team culture. This is your launchpad to a career in retail leadership — combining structured learning, real-time coaching, and opportunities to step into leadership when the Store Manager is away.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting the Store Manager with team leadership, coaching, and performance
  • Delivering exceptional customer experiences through storytelling and product expertise
  • Achieving personal sales targets while guiding the team to meet store goals
  • Championing our brand through impeccable visual merchandising and store presentation
  • Contributing to stock control, cash handling, rostering, compliance and store audits
  • Creating a safe, inclusive, and inspiring workplace for your team and customers
  • Leading by example in customer service, professionalism, and personal presentation

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of retail, sales or customer service experience
  • Experience in a team leadership, supervisory or mentoring capacity
  • A love of coaching others to succeed
  • A flair for storytelling and building genuine customer connections
  • Ability to work within a 7-day roster including weekends and late trade
  • A strong sense of accountability, professionalism, and personal pride

  • Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment, tools and materials listed in the Customer Service Representative (CSR) and Assistant Site Manager (ASM) job description
  • Ability to supervise and manage the functions listed in the CSR and ASM job description
  • Ability to use computer, or acquire those skills necessary to use a computer at the site, which includes analysis of reports, inventory control, cash control, counseling notices, etc
  • A valid driver's license and adequate transportation to/from bank and corporate management meetings
  • Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English
  • Perform other duties as assigned or delegated by his/her supervisor
