Job Description

Manager in Training position at Circle K convenience store involving leadership development, employee management, customer service, and store operations

Job Responsibility

  • Recruit, hire and train employees
  • Develop, manage and assign tasks to ensure site cleanliness and organization
  • Maintain professional and supportive image
  • Schedule employees within Company guidelines
  • Implement non-discriminatory management practices
  • Develop relationships with suppliers
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Promote safety awareness
  • Prepare performance appraisals
  • Conduct communication meetings
  • Analyze daily sales and expense information
  • Budget and forecast P&L lines
  • Safeguard and account for money

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience in retail sales preferred
  • Ability to supervise and train employees
  • Ability to use computer or acquire computer skills
  • Valid driver's license and adequate transportation
  • Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English
