Job Description

Partners with Engineering and Product people managers to support org design, talent strategy, and leadership effectiveness. Implements people initiatives, tailoring them to specific teams. Acts as a trusted advisor to managers, enabling team growth, engagement, and retention.

Job Responsibility

  • Act as a strategic thought partner to Engineering and Product Managers, providing guidance on team effectiveness, talent planning, and organisational growth
  • Localise and implement cohort-level strategies such as performance calibration, workforce planning, and org design changes
  • Partner with your Manager and lead the performance management process for assigned teams, including PEP, talent reviews, and promotion calibration
  • Analyse and interpret data on attrition, time off usage, eNPS, and other indicators
  • Provide high-touch coaching to ICs, Leads, and Sr. Leads
  • Champion engagement initiatives through focus groups, surveys, and team check-ins
  • Work closely with TMOD, Total Rewards, and other COEs to align programs with the evolving needs of Product and Engineering functions
  • Manage sensitive employee matters and investigations with discretion
  • Participate in interviews (L1-L7 levels) to help drive the right talent density within Engineering & Product

Requirements

  • 8+ years in HR with at least 6 years as an Tech HRBP
  • Strong background supporting Product, Engineering, or Tech functions in SaaS or IT Product companies
  • Proven track record across the employee lifecycle (onboarding to exit) and in coaching senior ICs and managers
  • Solves Problems with First Principles Thinking - Dissects complex issues to fundamentals and applies structured, original thinking to solve them
