Job Description

The Manager, Talent Analytics is responsible for transforming HR data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the EMEA region. As part of the Talent Analytics team, the Manager, Talent Analytics designs and maintains Power BI dashboards, processes large data sets, analyzes workforce trends, and delivers high-quality reporting and data insights to stakeholders across Marriott and the EMEA market. The Manager, Talent Analytics collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate HR and business data, fostering a data-driven culture and supporting predictive analytics initiatives. Within the Talent Analytics function, this position plays a critical role in shaping advanced analytics strategies and ensuring compliance with data privacy standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or another quantitative field required
  • advanced degree (Master’s in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field) preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in data analytics, people analytics, or business intelligence, demonstrating strong performance and growth
  • Strong Power BI proficiency required, including dashboard design, DAX modeling, and data visualization
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, basic macros) and advanced PowerPoint presentation ability required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience using SQL for data extraction and transformation from multiple systems
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (Oracle APEX, Oracle Analytics Model Administration Tool, Oracle Semantic Data Modeler, ETL) required
  • Proven ability to analyze and synthesize large data sets into clear, actionable insights
  • Advanced skills in data visualization and storytelling for diverse audiences, including senior leadership
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to influence decision-making through insights
  • Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively
