Job Description

As Manager, Global Sales, you will be instrumental in hiring, coaching, and scaling a high-performing outbound Global Sales Team based in Bangalore dedicated for one of our regions (Americas, EMEA, ANZ, Singapore). Your team will own the full sales cycle from lead generation, qualification, and discovery to solutioning, deal closure, contract negotiation, onboarding, and activation for outbound SME prospects in these regions. Operating across the dedicated region’s time zones, you will ensure seamless collaboration between the Global Sales Team and regional sales teams, optimizing workflows and driving consistent revenue growth. This role is working full time five days per week in our Bangalore office.

Job Responsibility

  • Build & Scale a High-Performance Global Sales Team: Hire, coach, and develop a world-class sales team focused on end-to-end sales execution and revenue growth
  • Own sales performance management, ensuring the team meets key sales metrics (pipeline contribution, conversion rates, closed-won deals, and revenue targets)
  • Own & Optimize the Full Sales Cycle: Develop best-in-class processes to drive high conversion rates and accelerate deal closure
  • Enable the team to negotiate, close, and onboard SME clients efficiently, ensuring a seamless customer experience
  • Establish structured communication channels and collaboration frameworks between the Global Sales Team and regional sales teams
  • Sales Enablement & Quality Management: Develop and refine sales playbooks, negotiation frameworks, and closing strategies tailored to the specific market
  • Provide structured training on contract negotiation, and deal closure tactics
  • Implement quality control measures, including sales call reviews, deal win-loss analysis, and structured feedback loops
  • Drive International Sales Success & Global Alignment: Operate in a multi-time-zone environment, ensuring real-time support for Airwallex’s global markets
  • Partner strategically with regional sales leadership to scale Airwallex’s global GTM strategy
  • Adapt to flexible working hours to maintain alignment with the regional sales operations

Requirements

  • 8+ years of total sales experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing global sales teams
  • Proven track record in hiring, training, and developing top-tier sales talent
  • Deep expertise in B2B full-cycle sales, deal negotiation, and revenue generation
  • Experience working across global time zones and managing international sales teams
  • Strong familiarity with AI-powered sales engagement tools, CRM workflows, and automation strategies
  • Highly collaborative, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
