Job Responsibility
The assigned flight operations are conducted with qualified crews in accordance with the regulatory requirements
All flight crews assigned duties on Bombardier aircraft meet the required standard for the assigned task
Pilot training records are maintained electronically and accessible on site
On-site pilots meet the requirements and standards for completion and maintenance of BCOM PCC
Pilots are assigned operational and training duties and monitor these duties to ensure Bombardier Standards and regulatory compliance
All flight operations are conducted in a safe, legal and expeditious manner
Assistance is provided in the development and maintenance of all related flight operations manuals and documentation
All flight safety reports, occurrences and infractions are documented and reported in accordance with the Flight Operations SMS
A site pilot is assigned as Site Safety Pilot and ensuring that they have sufficient time and support to accomplish their duties effectively
Requests for addition of aircraft to the TC POR are forwarded to the Director Flight Operations
Requirements
Hold a valid Canadian ATPL and a Class 1 medical
A US ATP is an asset
Have a minimum of 5,000 hours of total flight time with 1,000 hours PIC on large multi-engine aircraft
You have the flexibility to work irregular hours and to travel on short notice
You have previous management experience and a minimum of 2 years flight test experience
You hold a University Degree
You have sound knowledge of the Canadian Aviation regulations
You have strong communication and interpersonal skills
You can work without supervision
You can execute the duties of an aircraft commander while maintaining a positive and cooperative relationship with the crew and management
You have experience in managing stressful situations
You have working knowledge of MS Office
Having significant international experience is an asset
Having a strong technical background in certification or training is an asset
Nice to have
A US ATP is an asset
