Job Description

Manager – Fire & Safety for Property and Asset Management. Responsible for the fire safety of all sites and ensuring services meet client requirements.

Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for Fire Safety of all sites
  • Accountable for ensuring services are as per client’s requirements
  • Develop and monitor the Fire Safety Management Plan
  • Design the framework for Fire Safety Department operations
  • Issue guidelines and design procedures
  • Review and upgrade procedures periodically
  • Determine solutions to significant fire risks with stakeholders
  • Part of fire risk assessment
  • Incorporate findings into Fire Safety Operations Manual or Fire Safety Management Plan
  • Identify educational needs and develop training programs for Fire Safety Measures
  • Manage daily operations of Fire Safety centrally by assessing daily reporting
  • Coordinate with other departments for initiation and completion of Fire Safety Projects on sites
  • Present Fire Safety management performance to senior management
  • Coordinate and conduct Campus Evacuation Drills
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for all Fire Safety Related matters
  • Maintain Fire Safety performance parameters
  • Ensure investigations of Fire Related incidents
  • Provide End to End support to all stakeholders on fire safety matters
  • Implement all updates/directions issued from state fire service
  • Ensure Fire safety management plan is current and up to date
  • Establish and maintain effective liaison with State fire service and other appropriate authorities
  • Demonstrate leadership and lead by example
  • Develop and build teams
  • Implement controls to manage fire risk
  • Exceed customer satisfaction
  • Communicate with fire team, peers and subordinates
  • Ensure implementation of new initiatives/best practices to improve efficiency
  • Attend meetings, conferences, workshops and training sessions
  • Ensure timely submission of MIS and related reports
  • Ensure timely response on mails, occupant concern resolution and minute of meeting circulation
  • Support JLL emerging business by sharing leads of works taken up at sites
  • Demonstrate usage of training tool for self-development
  • Inculcate the culture of appreciation
  • Take part and drive JLL initiatives like D&I, CSR, Safety Week etc.
  • Imbibe JLL culture and values
  • Perform any other task/responsibility assigned by management

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical or any equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years work experience in Real Estate/Hotel or Construction Industry
  • For residential sites, candidates with residential experience will be preferred
  • Being Analytical and Meticulous
  • Good knowledge of the working procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use logic to troubleshoot problems
  • Ability to assign and monitor maintenance projects
  • Ability to coordinate with various teams
  • Attention to detail
