The International Card Services (ICS) LFO – Finance Manager is a critical role for the value creation of our business, being one of the most important markets inside American Express. This role interacts with a broad range of internal costumers and is a key enabler for business decision support, insight generation, reporting, and finance tracking to drive business growth.
Job Responsibility:
Drive business strategy, lead monthly/annual forecasting and long-term planning, and own key growth and profitability projects, such as Cost and Benefits analysis for key project, initiatives and product launches
Impact and influence at a senior level to ensure value creation for the business
Drive P&L Planning, Forecasting and Reporting process, with particular focus on Drivers, Revenues and PTI growth
Drive towards the automatization and digitalization data base and reporting in order to increase insight generation through meaningful analytics
Advise business teams on potential management strategies to optimize performance and address emerging opportunities or risks
Collaborate cross-functionally to align forecasting efforts with broader organizational objectives and priorities
Summarize key analytical findings to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner, highlighting relevant insights that influence our business partners decisions
Drive the budgeting and forecasting process, with particular focus on Drivers, Revenues and PTI growth
Requirements:
University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science, or Data Science
Fluent English and Spanish
Excellent analytical skills and financial acumen (5+ year experience in business insights/analytics roles)
Experience handling stakeholders and business partners
Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly presentation skills
Advanced Excel skills
Use of macros and computer skills in programming, such as SAS, SQL, Tableau, and other big data analytics and capabilities is preferred
Strong execution skills in a complex operational environment (anticipate problems & emphasize speed/prioritization)
