Requirements:
A relevant degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience, ideally with progress toward CPA or CA accreditation
Proven experience in research finance, grants administration or complex financial administration
Strong leadership capability in mentoring and managing staff within a high‑quality, service‑oriented environment
A strong understanding of external research funding rules, compliance requirements and financial governance
Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, acquittals and audit processes
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
The ability to manage competing deadlines, solve complex problems, and work both collaboratively and independently
Strong proficiency in financial systems and core desktop applications
Australian citizenship, permanent residence or a current valid visa that allows you to fulfill the requirements of this role
