Job Description

Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of agent-facing events and multimedia experiences for Sammons Independent Annuity Group (SIAG). This role is responsible for building a scalable experiential marketing function that delivers cohesive, high-impact live and multimedia experiences aligned with Sales leadership priorities. Oversee a growing portfolio of live events, webinars, podcasts, and video productions annually, ensuring strategic alignment, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration. This role combines strategic vision, team leadership, stakeholder relationship management, and hands-on event planning and execution.

Job Responsibility

  • Partner with Sales leadership to align event and multimedia priorities with business goals
  • Develop and execute a holistic experiential marketing strategy aligned with SIAG growth objectives
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of live events, webinars, podcasts, videos, and other large-scale agent experiences
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team responsible for event management and multimedia production, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and career development
  • Provide strategic direction, prioritize workloads, and ensure high standards of execution
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracting processes, and budget oversight in partnership with operational support roles
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Marketing, Sales, Creative Services, and external partners for experiential initiatives
  • Use Sammons Leadership Series (SLS) concepts and/or other management practices to incorporate the corporate shared values and division vision and mission statement into the department
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, encouraging innovation in event execution and multimedia experiences

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience in experiential marketing, event strategy, multimedia production, or related field Preferred
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams with a relationship-driven leadership approach
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, high-volume event portfolios
  • Strong strategic planning and organizational design skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor partnerships
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic thinker with ability to manage a large event and multimedia calendar
