Job Description

This position is responsible for managing the activities of the technical functions supporting Interventional Urology Operations. This includes leading and managing the Manufacturing Engineering, Controls Engineering, and Maintenance functions. Major Areas of Accountability: Technical Leadership, Operational Excellence, Team Development, Continuous Improvement, Capacity and Demand Management, Cost Optimization, Cross-Functional Coordination, Budget Management, Capital Investment Planning, Regulatory and Ethical Compliance. Other duties as assigned.

  • Leading and managing the Manufacturing Engineering, Controls Engineering, and Maintenance functions
  • Technical Leadership: Lead and manage engineering and maintenance support team
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure continuous support for all manufacturing processes
  • Team Development: Provide leadership, coaching, and development for engineering and maintenance personnel
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Capacity and Demand Management: Ensure process and machine capacity alignment
  • Cost Optimization: Lead initiatives to drive cost improvement
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate collaboration across departments
  • Budget Management: Manage departmental costs in alignment with budget guidelines
  • Capital Investment Planning: Research and present strategic capital equipment proposals
  • Regulatory and Ethical Compliance: Uphold highest ethical standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field from four-year college or university
  • Prior supervisory experience/training required
  • 7+ years’ experience within operations and/or manufacturing engineering ideally in the medical device industry
