Serve as a strategic finance lead and trusted business partner, delivering high-impact decision support to Medline’s international divisional product teams across Europe and the MEA region. Oversee financial performance for a diverse portfolio generating close to $1B in annual revenue across all divisions and product categories.
Job Responsibility
Manage and develop EMEA Divisional (product) FPA function
Analyze financial results, trends and metrics on a monthly basis and meet with key stakeholders to communicate net results and key drivers
Develop and mentor offshore staff through open communication, training and development opportunities
establish business need for on-shore support and team structure going forward
Partner with Divisional leaders, analysts, off-shore team and local finance to drive accurate analysis and forecasting, margin analysis and PVM reporting
Review and improve reporting and KPI tracking, implement and manage changes resulting from Oracle reporting structures
Provide specialized expertise through leading projects and financial reviews
Lead special projects within the financial analysis and reporting team to drive process improvement and consistency
Prepare annual budget, quarterly and long-range forecasts
Share, adapt and deploy Finance best practices to international teams with an eye on driving consistency and efficiency across Global finance, especially through support of offshore team
Conduct and lead quarterly/monthly financial business reviews with Divisions and other senior management
Engage in month-end close related activities including variance analysis, management presentation preparation, and commentary
Perform ROI analysis, scenario modeling, and provide decision support for future business planning decisions and investments, support new business initiatives, system integrations, M&A and other major projects
Serve as backup to the Senior Manager of Commercial FP&A
Requirements
at least Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
5+ years of experience in financial planning, reporting, or analysis, including business partnering with P&L owners
