Job Responsibility:
Achieve or exceed safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, service, cost, quality, compliance, and Lean performance targets
Oversee daily distribution operations across the Asia Pacific region (China, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand)
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment through regular inspections, strong safety practices, and effective incident investigation and corrective actions
Serve as the liaison between regional sales, customer service, and global supply planning teams to support execution of inventory policies and service strategies
Communicate operational performance, risks, and improvement opportunities to regional and global stakeholders
Lead and develop a team of approximately 9 direct reports and 30 total employees
Foster an environment of trust, respect, open communication, and strong employee relations
Coach and develop team members to support capability growth and future talent movement
Manage regional transportation spend of approx. USD $8M/year in partnership with Global Sourcing to mitigate inflationary pressures and improve cost efficiency
Oversee Warehouse & Distribution spend of approx. USD $20M/year (including freight) and identify opportunities for cost optimization
Support initiatives to improve on time delivery performance in the region
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (4 year) plus an advanced degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
At least 8 years of experience in logistics or distribution, including regional exposure
Strong analytical ability and strategic thinking skills
Ability to make decisions using detailed analysis, structured reasoning, and sound judgment
Ability to work independently and influence cross functional teams
Strong communication skills and experience representing the company to external partners
