Job Description:

The Product Management Sr. Manager position exists to successfully execute products and initiatives while providing coaching, growth opportunities and leadership within the Enterprise Product Acceleration Product Management practice. The role involves managing product strategy, customer feedback, metrics, iterations, functional standards, mentoring teams, and supporting organizational goals such as budgeting and quality improvement.

Job Responsibility:

Provide coaching, growth opportunities and leadership for the Enterprise Product Acceleration Product Management practice
Provide guidance and direction to product teams and direct reports on planning and execution of products, technical and functional standards and practice, process and procedures and career development
Participate in annual budgeting, capital processes and quality improvement activities for the organization

Requirements:

Responsible for product strategy, vision and the product backlog
Use customer feedback, detailed market analysis, and data gathering to make decisions about product strategy
Define and manage metrics to measure the success of your efforts and to inform the overall product strategy
Know your customer
invest significant time speaking with your current and potential customers to understand their needs & habits
Engage in build-test-learn activities to quickly validate assumptions and product direction
Decompose complex problems into smaller manageable tasks by creating and prioritizing a backlog for your XP team
Manage the product backlog, create an effective vision and provide timely stakeholder feedback on development iterations
Ensure the successful execution of development standards to ensure tight feedback loops and clear product definition
Coach and mentor members of the team as well as members of the cross-functional development organization on how to collaborate and conduct idea generation, consumer research, test design and execution, measurement, product implementation, customer interactions and roll out
Consult with business and IT stakeholders during execution of projects to ensure business and IT expectations are being met.
Address any challenge or roadblock to accomplish product goals and expectations
Identify and develop services and service level agreements (SLAs)
educate senior leaders on service related information and continually improve related processes
5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in an various Agile methodologies including: Experience with UX design advocacy within large business and technology organizations
Pharmacy Benefit Management and Healthcare industry experience a plus
Determination to enhance quality and save cost as part of continuous process improvements
