Job Description:

The Manager Design and Manufacturing is responsible for Design and manufacturing of biopharma process equipment such as skids, pressure vessels, and filtration systems. This role ensures compliance with GMP, ISO, and safety standards while driving operational excellence, on-time delivery (OTD), and cost efficiency. The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise in stainless steel fabrication, orbital welding, and assembly processes, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and mentor design engineers, CAD specialists, Manufacturing engineers
  • Plan resource allocation for multiple projects with varying complexity
  • Review fabrication drawings, P&IDs, and BOMs for accuracy and manufacturability
  • Manage end-to-end manufacturing of biopharma skids, pressure vessels, and related assemblies
  • Ensure zero-defect manufacturing and timely resolution of NCRs
  • Include project learnings Drive continuous improvements in design and manufacturing

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/production/industrial engineering
  • Strong knowledge of stainless-steel fabrication, orbital welding, and skid assembly
  • Proficiency in ASME BPE, PED, GMP compliance, ISO standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, inventor ERP tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ready to travel to supplier & customer locations
