Job Description

The Demand Chain Logistics Manager leads a team of routing and transportation analysts. These analysts maintain the order and delivery schedules for our stores across 3 wholesalers and our 3PL logistics partners. They also manage inbound transportation and evaluate routing plans to serve our stores. This manager trains team members, assigns tasks, and balances workload to ensure a high standard of service supporting our stores.

Job Responsibility

  • Leads a team analysts to successfully manage the execution of routing/order window changes for CDC and Wholesale
  • Leads the inbound transportation function for Demand Chain and drives cost reduction in managed inbound freight into our distribution centers
  • Sets goals and balances workload to schedule bi-annual wholesale re-routes across three wholesalers with 30+ warehouses
  • Facilitates semi-annual franchisee surveys
  • Acts a Demand Chain representative for integration of new store acquisitions and back office migrations (RIS/PDI/Bluecube)
  • Implements continuous improvement activities in the team to drive efficiencies and reduce non-value add work
  • Develops team members to advance to the best of their abilities and prepare them for advancing their 7-11 careers

Requirements

  • EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
  • YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 5+ years
  • YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 1+ years
  • Knowledge of 7-11 proprietary systems controlling order and delivery schedules
  • Understanding of supply chain transportation functions
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities
  • Strong project/program management and planning skills
