Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring inbound, outbound, stock replenishment, and production activities run safely, accurately, and on schedule. Leading a team of Supervisors, they monitor performance, resolve operational challenges, and optimize workforce allocation to meet service level agreements. This role drives a culture of accountability and operational excellence, translating site objectives into actionable plans and maintaining seamless continuity across all shifts, seven days a week.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure smooth running of daily warehouse operations across AM and PM shifts, 7 days a week
  • Deliver outbound fulfilment (B2C, B2B, retail store replenishment, and production/personalisation) to required service levels
  • Oversee inbound activities: goods receipt, put away, returns, and stock replenishment
  • Manage workflow and resource allocation in real time, flexing labour to meet volume demands
  • Resolve operational issues on-shift, escalating where required
  • Ensure all stock handling (goods-in, put away, picking, replenishment, returns) is completed accurately and in line with WMS processes
  • Monitor and drive stock accuracy on shift through cycle counts, location checks, and timely reconciliation of errors
  • Investigate stock discrepancies or damages, ensuring corrective actions are taken and learnings shared with teams
  • Support loss-prevention measures by enforcing scanning compliance, secure handling, and exception reporting
  • Provide shift-level reporting on stock issues to the Senior Manager and Inventory Control team
  • Directly manage and coach supervisors across AM/PM shifts, fostering accountability and consistent leadership standards
  • Ensure clear communication of daily priorities, targets, and performance results to teams
  • Drive engagement and motivation, creating a positive and safe working environment
  • Function as the escalation point for people and operational matters during shift hours
  • Monitor and report on shift KPIs: productivity, quality, accuracy, safety, cost

  • Manage performance, absence, conduct, and shift-level ER/HR matters in partnership with HR
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ensuring supervisors effectively manage their teams
  • Support succession planning by developing supervisors and potential future leaders
  • Ensure compliance with all H&S policies and legal requirements on-shift
  • Conduct daily safety checks and audits (e.g., PPE usage, equipment inspections, housekeeping)
  • Ensure all incidents/near misses are reported, investigated, and actions are closed out
  • Monitor adherence to stock handling, scanning, and loss-prevention processes
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting of shift performance to the Senior Manager
  • Function as the first line of communication between floor-level teams and site leadership
  • Support customer or stakeholder visits as required, representing the operation during shift activity
