Job Description:

As the Internal Audit Project Manager, you will be a key member of the Internal Audit team and will lead the execution of internal audit projects. This role serves as a subject matter expert and is responsible for overseeing a project team in the planning and execution of concurrent and/or complex independent financial and operational audits/projects to evaluate internal control processes in a variety of business areas.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the execution of internal audit projects
Serve as subject matter expert
Oversee project team in planning and execution of independent financial and operational audits
Provide day-to-day project management of internal audit engagements
Review process documentation obtained during risk monitoring
Develop project plan including delegation of work to team
Draft audit issues and reports for senior leadership
Manage project resource needs and time/expense budgets
Perform and document audit activities in accordance with professional standards
Execute testing and create work paper documentation
Interact with various levels of Internal Audit and business line management

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years prior experience in a relevant accounting or auditing role
Technical business report writing
Ability to travel up to 10%

Nice to have:

Professional designations such as CPA, CIA, CISA
Prior experience in strategizing, planning and developing business compliant audit project plans
Prior project management experience
Practical knowledge of processes, risks, and internal controls
Strong analytical, deductive, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
Good teamwork and collaboration skills
Solid meeting management and oral/written communication skills
