We're looking for a Manager, Commercial Sales to lead our commercial account executives who partner with growing companies to help them scale their Python, data science, and AI capabilities through Anaconda's products. We work consultatively with technical and business stakeholders to solve complex challenges and drive adoption across their organizations. As a Manager, Commercial Sales, you'll build and develop a team of account executives who navigate multi-stakeholder sales cycles and bring new customers to Anaconda. You'll shape go-to-market strategy for the commercial segment, drive pipeline discipline, and partner cross-functionally with marketing, solutions engineering, and customer success to accelerate growth and articulate Anaconda’s value. This role directly influences how Anaconda expands its footprint in the commercial segment and sets the foundation for future expansion.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of commercial account executives to drive new logo acquisition and account expansion within commercial organizations
Define and execute segment strategy, including target account prioritization, territory design, and competitive positioning
Leverage and drive the use of AI-based sales tools and processes to drive a low-touch, high-velocity sales motion
Build rigorous pipeline management and forecasting practices to deliver predictable revenue outcomes
Coach reps on navigating complex, multi-threaded sales cycles involving technical evaluators, procurement, and executive sponsors
Partner with solutions engineering to align technical discovery with business value and accelerate deal velocity
Collaborate with marketing on segment-specific campaigns, messaging, and demand generation programs
Analyze win/loss data and market trends to refine sales plays and improve competitive positioning
Recruit and onboard top talent who can sell consultatively into technical organizations
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales with consistent 80+% quota attainment
Experience leading sales cycles with commercial organizations involving multiple stakeholders and procurement processes
Track record of developing account executives and improving team performance through structured coaching
Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce) and pipeline management methodologies
Experience partnering with solutions engineering or technical pre-sales teams to demonstrate value-driven customer solutions
Nice to have:
Experience selling developer tools, data platforms, or infrastructure software to technical buyers
History of building or refining commercial segment strategy and go-to-market motions
Track record of scaling teams and processes during periods of significant growth
