Job Description

Boston Dynamics is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Manager to lead the Certified Integrator Program (CIP) and drive the evolution of a scalable, global partner ecosystem. This leader will be responsible for defining the strategic framework that enables partners to deliver Boston Dynamics products at scale while maintaining a world-class standard of execution. By developing standardized playbooks, rigorous certification mechanisms, and data-driven feedback loops, this role safeguards the Boston Dynamics brand as our multi-platform lineup expands, empowering a partner network to operate with high autonomy and technical precision. Reporting to Customer Solutions & Integration leadership, this position develops the core competencies for future advancement into department leadership, Program Management, or Project Execution, as well as potential career paths within Product Management, Sales, or Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee the end-to-end partner experience to ensure every integration reflects Boston Dynamics’ standards of excellence and operational reliability
  • Act as the strategic owner for CIP partners, managing the relationship through data by reporting key performance metrics and identifying trends within the CIP fleet
  • Manage and create career paths for junior-to-senior level engineers and own the reporting chain responsible for CIP team build-out
  • Partner with Sales to drive the strategic identification, qualification, and selection of potential Certified Integrator Program (CIP) candidates
  • Leverage market data, sales funnel trends, and cultural nuances to provide savvy insights that inform regional playbooks and global business strategy
  • Partner with CSI leads to establish feedback loops that channel partner-driven insights to GTM operational and product leaders
  • Facilitate the development of CIP content by bridging Technical Field Application Engineers’ expertise with Customer Learning & Development (CL&D) production
  • Oversee the onboarding and training of partners, collaborating with Field Application Engineers to deliver training and establish rigorous mechanisms for partner certification and renewal
  • Partner with Field Application Engineers to provide rapid technical support and manage the escalation path for partners

Requirements

  • BS in Engineering is required
  • Minimum 10+ years’ direct relative experience working in fast-paced technology integration
  • 3+ years of experience in direct report management
  • Experience using various operating systems and issue tracking systems (JIRA, Smartsheet, Confluence, etc)
  • A positive attitude and passion for career mentoring and supporting a team
  • Ability to context switch, digest information, and align with cross-functional organizations
  • Strong Communication skills in both spoken and written form
  • Ability to adapt to project challenges in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment
  • Willing to travel 50% of the time

  • Previous project management experience implementing complex interdisciplinary systems
