Job Description:

We are looking for a Manager Category Management – Drinks who will make a difference in our shops! As Manager Category Management - Drinks, you take the commercial lead for the Drinks category, you manage a team of category managers and support management in strategic projects. You are the driving force behind a winning assortment, sharp pricing and promotional strategies, and flawless execution across Belgium and Luxembourg.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, coach, develop: You motivate and support your category colleagues, focusing on onboarding, mentoring, and building a high‑performing team
  • End‑to‑end ownership of your Drinks category: from market analysis and assortment definition to planograms, pricing strategy, promotion planning and supply alignment — you steer performance on revenue, margin, volume, traffic, and market share
  • Belux scope: You work cross‑functionally with local stakeholders and European counterparts, ensuring consistent and high‑quality execution in both Belgium and Luxembourg
  • Category leadership & team development
  • Managing & optimizing the Drinks category
  • Negotiations & promotion management for Drinks

Requirements:

  • Higher relevant education (e.g., Business or related field)
  • At least 5+ years in category management
  • 3+ years in FMCG/retail or a specialized sector
  • Experience with supplier negotiations, contracts and (private label) product or brand development
  • Solid experience in leading a team
  • Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency with tools like Excel, PowerBI, etc.
  • You are trilingual — Dutch, French and English

Nice to have:

Category Management and Project Management training are a plus
