Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly analytical, and collaborative Manager to join the Business Performance & Customer Insights team, to oversee operational performance, stock optimization, and channel insights. This role plays a critical part in ensuring healthy inventory levels, validating sales orders, and providing data-driven insights for distributor performance and trade operations mainly for the US market. The position will work closely with global and regional stakeholders to ensure trade partner data and performance insights support strategic decision-making, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer experiences.

Job Responsibility:

  • Validate and approve sales orders, ensuring alignment with inventory targets and avoiding overstock or stockouts
  • Monitor distributor inventories to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Analyze purchase orders and sales trends to proactively identify supply risks or demand fluctuations
  • Lead development and execution of standardized KPIs and performance dashboards for channel partners including Specialty Pharmacies (SPs), Wholesalers, and Distributors
  • Conduct inventory reviews for each distributor and provide recommendations to optimize supply chain efficiency
  • Support launch readiness from a trade operations perspective, coordinating analytics and readiness metrics for new product launches or distribution changes
  • Support and coordinate Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), scorecards, and channel performance reporting
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to enhance dashboards, KPIs, and data models supporting distribution visibility
  • Generate actionable customer and channel insights to support commercial, finance, and supply chain decision-making
  • Support the development of forecasting inputs through analysis of market dynamics, customer behavior, and distributor stock levels
  • Build strong partnerships with Trade Development, Finance, Customer Experience (Order Entry Operations), Supply Chain, and Commercial teams
  • Support trade contract discussions through data-driven insights and operational evaluations
  • Ensure timely communication with internal and external stakeholders, acting as the main point of contact for the sales order validation and inventory-related topics in Global Customer Experience
  • Drive process discipline and operational rigor in order validation, stock review cycles, and channel reporting
  • Prepare and present insights for senior leadership, summarizing risks, opportunities, and performance trends
  • Identify operational gaps and coordinate corrective action plans with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Analytics, or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in senior analytical or operational roles in trade operations, distribution analytics, or channel partner management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry at a regional level
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data interpretation, dashboard management, and KPI monitoring
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and familiarity with trade or distribution data
  • Advanced English Proficiency

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with U.S. pharma distribution channels or trade operations
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS Analytics, Supply Chain Management)
  • Hands-on knowledge of EDI transactions (852/867) and understanding of channel operations metrics
