The candidate’s primary responsibility is to identify, evaluate and finalize new opportunities within the business development strategy with the objective to support and expand the company overall growth and profitability
Job Responsibility:
Identify new opportunities (product acquisitions, product co-development, product in/out-licensing and asset acquisition)
Coordinate and facilitate the assessment of new opportunities from a scientific and marketing point of view
Prepare product forecasting and modeling, including competitive intelligence, pricing, risk assessment and scenario planning
Initiate and coordinate the due diligence process on projects
Support financial, NPV, due diligence efforts to provide recommendations on viability of products/programs
Coordinate the negotiation of transaction agreements
Requirements:
Degree in Science or Economics
Solid project management experience
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in a BD role (preferred)
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work and lead inter-functional teams
Excellent knowledge of Office Automation SW and Tools (Excel and PowerPoint are a must)
Skills in financial modeling and quantitative analysis
Ability to present information in a concise and efficient manner
High confidence and ability to present to, and influence, senior management
Ability to understand and negotiate complex contract agreements
Direct experience in business transactions (licensing, acquisitions, mergers, divestitures) is a plus
Fluent in written and spoken English
