Job Description:

We seek a results-driven and collaborative Manager to lead our team of Business Analysts (BAs) and Scrum Masters/Project Managers within the Global Data Engineering and Business Intelligence (BI) function. This role will guide and mentor a team of professionals who are essential to defining requirements, facilitating agile delivery, and ensuring alignment between business needs and technical execution. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in data and analytics, proven leadership capabilities, and experience in agile methodologies and project management to drive high-impact project outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Analysts and Scrum Masters, fostering a high-performing and engaged team culture
Oversee the team in requirements gathering, documentation, and translation of business needs into technical deliverables across various data and BI initiatives
Ensure effective implementation of agile delivery practices and cross-team coordination
Serve as an escalation point for project issues, scope clarity, and cross-functional alignment
Collaborate with data engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions
Drive process improvements and standardization of BA and Scrum Master practices across projects
Monitor team capacity and resource allocation to balance workload and prioritize high-value initiatives
Ensure continuous alignment with strategic business goals and technology roadmaps
Promote stakeholder engagement and serve as a trusted partner in solution delivery
Support hiring, onboarding, and development of BAs and Scrum Masters to build organizational capability

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in business analysis, agile project delivery, and/or data-focused project management, including 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role
Solid understanding of data engineering, business intelligence, and analytics ecosystems
Proven expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience leading Scrum teams
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels
Experience in defining and standardizing BA and agile practices
Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
A passion for mentoring and developing team members while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and teams in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP, CBAP) are a plus
